Almighty Father, you brought your Church to birth through the outpouring of your promised Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. Send, now, the same Spirit into our midst: strengthen all who have been reborn in baptism and grant them the grace to give bold and loving witness to your truth, that people of every tribe, tongue, and nation may draw near to the inexhaustible bounty of your love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Keep us steadfast in this faith and constant in our worship, give us a voice to tell of your love, equip us for every good work, defend us from all adversities, and bring us at last into your presence in the Kingdom, where you live and reign in endless joy and love; one God in three Persons, forever and ever.
