Eternal Father, you have given your only-begotten Son to take our nature upon himself, and to be born of a pure virgin. Grant that we who have been born again and made your children by adoption and grace may be renewed daily in faith, hope, and love through the power of your life-giving Spirit. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty and everliving God, your beloved Son, who took upon himself our human nature, was presented in the temple in obedience to the Law. Unite our voices with those of Simeon and Anna to acclaim him as true Light, and grant, at the last day, that he may present us to you with hearts that are clean and pure. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

BETWEEN PRESENTATION AND EPIPHANY
Eternal Father, you wonderfully created, and yet more wonderfully restored, the dignity of our human nature through the birth of your only-begotten Son. Grant that we may share in his divine life, just as he humbled himself to share in our humanity. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
